If you request additional work beyond the original issue, those services will be billed at a flat rate of $80 per hour. This keeps pricing consistent and fair while allowing flexibility for expanded support.
If a flat-rate price cannot be determined during the initial phone call or text, we will provide a clear quote before any work is performed. You will always have full visibility into your costs.

My name is Bryan, and I’m the founder of NorthStar Tech Solutions, a home‑user and small‑business IT support service built on clarity, trust, and calm problem‑solving.
Technology has always been a part of my life — not just as a tool, but as something I genuinely enjoy understanding, fixing, and teaching. Before launching NorthStar, I spent years working in education as a special education teacher and IEP case manager, where I learned how to break down complex problems, support people with patience, and communicate clearly under pressure. Those same skills now shape the way I approach tech support: calm, steady, and focused on helping people feel confident instead of overwhelmed.
I’ve spent years building a strong foundation in IT and cybersecurity, earning industry‑recognized certifications including:
